Why We Exist.

Our Vision.

Our Mission.

Social Butterfly is a creative platform empowering Afro-Caribbean women in music through visibility, opportunity, and community. We bridge the gap in representation by hosting live showcases, networking experiences, and creative workshops that connect talent with brands, audiences, and collaborators.

Our mission is simple: to make the music industry more inclusive and accessible. From music performances and personal development tools to paid brand opportunities and UGC sponsorships. We provide the ecosystem women need to grow, thrive, and be seen.

We’ve built a loyal, highly engaged community across the UK, with events featured on BBC Radio Manchester as well as creatives travelling from across cities to take part.

Partnering with us means helping to shape a future where representation, creativity, and equality thrive together.

We believe creativity should never be limited by access, background, or representation. That’s why we’re creating a global network that connects women of colour to opportunity, support, and visibility in the creative space.

To champion equal access and creative freedom for women of colour by building safe, empowering spaces to grow, express, and succeed.

To build pathways for marginalised creatives to learn, collaborate, and earn from their craft, by nurturing a culture of inclusivity and innovation in the creative industries. We’re not just building community. We’re reshaping the future of creative work.
